The Galician Blond is a breed of cattle native to the region of Galicia in Northern Spain. Also named for its color its coat varies from cream to golden red. The Galician Blond is primarily a beef cattle breed though its milk has traditionally been used in the production of Tetilla cheese. Its breed registry has existed since 1933 and some crossbreeding with Simmental Brown Swiss and South Devons may have occurred sporadically in the 1900s.
